Piedmont, SC, USA; June 17, 2011 - Digital Identification Solutions AG (DISO), a leading international ID solutions provider, recently received a Maximum Impact Award at the 2011 Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Charlotte, NC, USA for its entry of the EDIsecure® XID 8300 Retransfer ID Card Printer.

The awards, which showcase products and services that help security integration and
monitoring companies meet their customer needs and grow their profits, place a critical
perspective on the impact that new and recently introduced products and services have on
security integration and monitoring businesses.

The winners were voted on by a distinguished panel of judges drawn from the leadership and ranks of ESX's owner/sponsor associations, CSAA and ESA.

The XID 8300 won the award for Best Access Control/ID Systems in the category of Badging/ID Systems & Badging Products. This innovative retransfer printer is the newest in a long line of reliable and resilient solutions in the DISO product portfolio, and is especially adaptive to various industry markets due to its modular component options and overall versatility.

The EDIsecure® XID 8300 uses the same proven engine as its renowned 5xxie Series
predecessors, and includes options for single or dual sided simultaneous custom hologram
lamination, inline magnetic stripe, contact chip and contactless RFID encoding, plus high
resolution UV and high definition retransfer color printing. It also comes with a lifetime print head warranty, plus color ribbons that yield 1,000 prints per roll to reduce handling, and increase system uptime.

"The products and services selected as this year's Maximum Impact Awards winners are
smartly positioned to have a positive impact on the revenues and profits of security integration and monitoring companies," says George De Marco, ESX Chair.

Winning entries will be featured in articles in CSAA and ESA print and electronic publications, the ESX wrap-up e-newsletter and a post event press release to security industry trade channel publications.
